Julie Ann Lightcap, 54

Julie Ann (Kulcyski) Lightcap, 54, wife of Jay E. Lightcap, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Reading Hospital.

Born in Fort Dix, NJ, she was the daughter of Jane and Rick Huber.

Julie loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to music and playing the song game with her husband. Julie liked cooking and attending family gatherings.

Surviving along with her husband Jay, are her children Janel Kulcyski; Nicole Lefever, wife of Chris; Nikki Barrantes, wife of Bryan; siblings Scott Pence; Rick Huber, husband of Cindy; Christina Hafer; and Mike Huber, husband of Janet; grandchildren Zuri, Zendaya, Zxena, Jayden, Ashley, Addison, Scarlett, and Pierce. She is also survived by her dog Sasha and Butters the cat.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 9:30-11:00AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation (https://support.kidney.org/) in Julie’s name.

Julie was part of our Stowe posse back in the 80’s. This is a “Stand by Me.” moment for our little gang. She’ll be forever ?? loved and alive in our memories.

Julie was such a kind person . I worked 3-11 and she came in to relieve us. Her and Chrissy were a great, funny team working to give our residents great care and kindness. May she rest in peace. Condolences to her family.

I am soooo sorry I know she will be greatly missed not just by her family but also by her friends and kids she helped raise (like me ). I still can’t imagine waking up in a world where she isn’t love you Jay and Nelli
