Pete was a great friend and will be missed. We worked together for 16+ years at USSC and his random visits to my office, wherever that was, always came with a big smile and a "How's it going". We would joke with each other and talk about what we were working on at that time and those visits always ended with me telling him to "get back to work".

We are both huge Eagles fans and Pete started joining my tailgates in the F2 lot many years ago. Often with Amy, Lauren & the dogs. We always had a great time because even if our Birds didn't win that day, we ALWAYS had a great tailgate. We often have people without tickets in the lot watching the game, while those with tickets go in. I always invited Pete to stay for the game to celebrate our victory afterwards, but Pete wouldn't unless I stayed out in the lot with him - at least until half-time. That was always his hard stop for tailgating. He loved the pre-game speeches, followed by my "WHAT TIME IS IT?" and then our traditional Irish car-bombs. Pete never missed that part of the tailgate. Every time I raise that car-bomb cup in the future, I'll be thinking of you Pete! GO BIRDS!
