Frederick Vetter, 82, of North Coventry, passed away Saturday April 27, 2024 at the Reading Hospital.
Born in Darby, he was the son of the late Frederick William and Dorothy (Printz) Vetter.
Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, bird watching, and collecting arrowheads. He especially had fun hanging out with his buddies at his best friend Kurt’s house.
Fred’s Legacy: leaving behind many wonderful and inspiring stories of his life connecting with nature both on land and water. Sharing many great days with his family sitting around tables and campfires.
Surviving is his son Frederick W. Vetter, Jr.; daughter Kimber L. Vetter; grandson Larry Williams; 3 brothers; 1 sister; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his longtime companion Catherine Balsavage and his brother Robert Vetter.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday May 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
