On behalf of my son, Jim Shaffer, who was a close boyhood friend of Craig's and who lives with his family in Spain the past 18 years, I offer heartfelt sympathy to Craig's family. May you take comfort in knowing he is at peace and no longer suffering.

Jim Krynski

Aug-29 12:42pm

In reading the Saturday Mercury this morning, I am shocked to read of Craig's passing. I new Craig best about 10 years ago when I was Director of Operations for Pennridge School District. We worked together on Drum Construction's installation of "Stamped Macadam" at 2 of my elementary schools. There were also other smaller projects we discussed or worked on over about a 5 year time span back then. Outside of project matters we talked hunting and some about our families. I just happened to be driving down Hollow Rd outside Collegeville one day about a year ago when I passed a small white Drum Const. car pulled over to the side of the road. This was a rural road with very little traffic and as I passed of the vehicle it's familiar look made me study it better in my rear view mirror. I saw enough to make me slow to a stop a couple hunded feet down the road and then back up. I hadn't spoke with Craig for a few years at that point, As I left my truck and started walking to his car I could see he had a set of plans and was making notes for a road resurface job he was bidding. we talked for about 10 minutes - I never sensed that he had any kind of affliction. I would like to extend my sincere sympathies to his family. I got a sense that he was a real "family man" and I'm certain he will be deeply missed.
Best Wishes
Jim Krynski
Lower Pottsgrove

My childhood friend and inseperable sidekick. We sure had some fun. Fishing all summer long, Boyscouts, bicycles, baseball cards, wrestling, and playing with the rest of the kids in the area. At times it seemed I spent more time at his house than mine. My heart goes out to his family, those I've met, and those I haven't. Russell, Janice, Gladys, Deanie, and Ronnie, you were all like extended family to me. Nothing I can say or do can mitigate your loss, know then that it's my loss too. Craig took a part of me with him and left a part of himself with me. I'll treasure the memories till the day we meet again on the other side.

Sorry for the loss of your mate and father. He was still quite a young man. May the words at Acts 24:15, "and I have hope towards God, which hope these men themselves also entertain that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.", bring you hope. Comfort one another. Let others help.

Rest in Peace, Mother for you are with the Angels now. No more pain, no more suffering. We will miss you dearly, but we also rejoice in knowing that you have been welcomed home to Heaven. We love you.

"We little knew that morning
that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again."
~Author Unknown

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Mom was a beautiful person who was taken from this world to early, but her rewards in heaven will be great and well deserved.

I would like to leave you with a poem from the Priests of the Sacred Heart that has helped me in the past and I hope it will be able to bring you some comfort.

Safely Home

I am home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! But Jesus’ love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus’ arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must not grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth’s shadows,
Pray to trust our Father’s Will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth-
You shall rest in Jesus’ land.

When that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge death as we know it here on earth. But we know there is now another angel in Heaven as Jane is now loving many dogs in heaven as she did here on earth. Jane has joined her dearly beloved son Jimmy in heaven and until such time as we join them in Heaven may they look down on us with all the love and kindness they showed us here on earth. They are both dearly loved and missed by all who were privileged to know them.

To the Family of Mick Moser,

My heart goes out to all of you at this times as I am sure the grief you must be feeling, at having lost someone as wonderful as Mick, is beyond what I could even begin to imagine.
Over the last 25 years I saw or spoke to Mick less than a dozen times, however I have always respected, appreciated, admired and loved him for being my friend or big brother figure years ago when I needed him.
Although I am sure he never realised it, it was the support and advise he gave me so many years ago that gave me the courage to make my life better, as successful and happy as it is today.
Mick was one of the great ones. Out of respect and gratitude for him I will keep you always in my thoughts, and prayers while wishing you peace, and happiness.

God Bless you.

Rest in Peace Mick, you will never be forgotten.
