Michael Dominic Cantamaglia, age 16

Michael Dominic Cantamaglia, age 16, son of Craig R. and Karen L. (McAlpin) Cantamaglia, of Green Hill Rd., Barto, died Monday in auto accident in East Coventry Twp. Michael’s heart always belonged to Pottsgrove, where he resided for most of his life.

He was born in Norristown, and was an 11th grade student at Pottsgrove High School.

He enjoyed playing soccer and loved snowboarding. But more than anything, Mike’s friends were his life. Mike, beloved to them as Cant or Chewy, loved his friends and lived with a shy smile and a contagious laugh that brought fun and comfort to those closest to him. Mike was happiest when everyone around him was happy.

Michael lived in basketball shorts, sweats and sneakers or flip flops. In true tribute and loving memory honoring him, as he will always be, the family is asking for a casual dress at all services, sweats, jeans, team wear, comfort clothes, as that was truly Michael, as those closest know all too well, is what he would want.

Surviving with his parents are a Paternal Grandmother, Dorothy Capoferri, of Trooper, and Maternal Grandparents, Maria A. and William T. McAlpin, of Woodbridge Va. Also surviving is a brother, Brandon D. Cantamaglia, of Barto.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at St. James U.C.C., 321 S. Limerick Rd., Limerick Pa., with the Rev. James Roth, officiating. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends may call on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM, at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 711 N. Franklin St. Pottstown, and also on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:15 AM, at the church.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the: Michael D. Cantamaglia, Pottsgrove Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o TriCounty Credit Union, 1550 Medical Dr., Pottstown, Pa. 19464.

Keeping You Close in Caring Thoughts and Prayers.

Though your hearts must hold deep sadness at the loss of the one you loved, may it also hold the blessings of the life you shared and the love that will always be a part of you.
Praying that God will comfort your heart, uplift your spirit, and carry you through this time of sadness to a place of peace.

I will always remember the kindness extended to me as a child and young man by the Christman Family.Dick and I were friends we swam together, played Baseball together, fished in the creek that ran by his house, explored all creation anywhere and everywhere. When we were young men just starting out, our paths took different directions. I joined the military and left Pottstown "on the road to find out" and lost contact with Dick. My thought often turned to my friends and buddies I left behind. I now miss Tommy Dan, Eric High, Gary (Garrett) Kane and now Richard (Dick) Christman, plus too many others over the so few years since. I don't know what happened to us? How we got so lost. But by God's grace alone I once was lost but now I'm found. Out of town commitments will prevent me from attending the service so please accept my words and thoughts of Richard as though I am there.

Ecclesiastes 3:9-11

9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Dear Mrs. Weaver and family...Our deepest sympathy goes out to your entire family from our family. Mr. Weaver (also known as Poppy by our children) always welcomed our family at NHLC and made us feel at home. Ryan and Brennan always looked forward to his candy filled pockets on Sundays. What a wonderful and inspiring person he was to know. I'm sure the Lord has embrassed him and said "welcome home. Job well done". With love and sympathy...Ted, Beth, Ryan, and Brennan (Becker) Schweiger

Dear Frances and family,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You must be devastated, and so was I. Words cannot explain how I'm feeling right now. George was a very big part of my life, and he will be greatly missed by everyone he touched. The memories that we've both shared, I will forever cherish. I've seen him at his worst and at the time, it almost broke me. Even though I've prepared myself for this day, I still can't seem to accept that he's gone. I feel your hurt and pain, trust me. We've all lost a great man. To Fran, I wish you the best and hope you get through this ordeal in a positive way. And to George, thank you for the memories and being my friend. I love you like a father. May you rest in peace.

Your buddy,
Cong

Every once in a great while, God puts someone very special on this earth. Timmy is one of those special few. Throughout his life, he touched the lives of many, always leaving things better than he found them. As one of "the few", he would always go out of his way to help someone, never asking for anything in return. Of all the people I have ever met, Tim was always there.. a "real friend".

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Mom and the family. I know Timmy and his Dad now have the best seats in the house for every Penn State game. Peace my friend.

Shep

I wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to your family. I have not seen Tim in alot of years. But you need to know that when Tim was needed he was there for his friends. My father was dying of cancer and I needed help. I could not watch my best friend, my father die. It was tooooo hard. I ran. But I ran to the right people. Timmy, Huddy, Kenny, Robyn, people that would not take advantage. People that would take care of me. And they did. And to this day I am gratefull. I wish I could have said this thank you to Tim, but I think he knew. I will let you know that he died too young. He will be miss by alot of people. He will always be loved for what he did and what he left. They say "It does not matter how long a star shines, what matters is how bright it shines." Timothy Weber was a bright and shining star and will always shine in my heart. Thank you. Nancy Kinckiner
