Ruth Elaine (Gaun) Monroe, 88, of Pottstown, wife of the late William D. Monroe, passed away Sunday March 31, 2024 at her residence.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Ava Gaun.
Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was always generous and put others needs before her own.
Surviving are her sons David C. Monroe, James T. Monroe, and William A. Monroe; daughter-in-law Wendy Monroe; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
