Walter S. Sitko, 81

Walter S. Sitko, 81, of Linfield, loving husband of Saundra Ann (Aiken) Sitko, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at his residence.

Born in Pottstown, Walt was the son of the late John and Anna (Michalik) Sitko.

Walt loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, and was a lifelong supporter of all Philadelphia sporting teams. Walt was a founding member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Schwenksville. He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for 21 years. He worked for Firestone and later Neapco in Pottstown, PA for 17 years. Walt was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving along with his wife is his son Jeffrey Sitko, husband of Sandra (O’Hara) Sitko; daughter Trisha (Sitko) Larkin wife of Joseph; grandchildren Ryan Sitko, Matthew Sitko, Michael Sitko, Mary Kate Sitko, and Aidan Larkin; and sister Theresa (Sitko) Leatherman, wife of Barry Leatherman.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday May 17, 2024 at 12:00 PM at St. Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Interment will follow at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia. Visitation will be held Friday from 11:00-11:45 AM at the church.
