Bernard G. Nichols, 88, of Collegeville, husband of Linda L. (Hartenstine) Nichols, passed away Sunday April 14, 2024 at Sanatoga Center.

Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the son of the late Edward J. Pike and Marie Irene Croteau.

Bernard served in the US Air Force. He obtained his personal pilots license and enjoyed flights with his wife. Bernard also enjoyed tinkering around on his computer. He had a great sense of humor that will truly be missed.

Surviving along with his wife are his children Anthony Nichols, Barbara Abbott, Teresa Wojton wife of David, Michelle Fleming wife of Sam, and Michael Nichols; step-daughters Heather Pierson and Laurel Witte wife of Fred; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday April 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00-10:45 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernard’s memory to St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust St., Collegeville, PA 19426.

Uncle Bernie will be missed. I so enjoyed his humor and genuine love shown to me anytime I visited the Camp Ground. Hugs to Linda and all my cousins.
