Floyd “Tim” Timmins Bretz, 78, husband of Kathleen E. (Conroy) Bretz, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Pottstown Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Floyd George Bretz and Blanche (Timmins) Bretz.
Tim proudly served in the United States Air Force. He began working with computers in the 1960’s and that kickstarted his career. He skydived in his younger years and also earned his pilot’s license. Tim worked as a wedding photographer to help pay his way through college. He held onto that passion for photography for the rest of his life. Tim also enjoyed astronomy, stamp and coin collecting, golfing, and bowling.
Surviving along with his wife Kathy of 51 years, are his children Trina Bretz; Peter Bretz; and Jeff Bretz; sister Linda Quinn, wife of Bob; sister-in-law Mary Alcorn; nieces and nephews Danny and Heather Quinn, Michael Pankratz, and Diane Fuquay. He is predeceased by his sister Jan Pankratz.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
