Anna M. (Stocker) Bertolet Hess, 90, wife of the late Thomas Edmund Bertolet and Sherman Hess Sr., of North Coventry, passed away on Friday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Carrie (Wilson) Stocker.
Anna was a member of Coventry Church of The Brethren in Pottstown where she was a member of the Friendship Circle. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, bus trips and going to the shore. She was known by her family and friends as the “Flower Lady” because of her love of flowers.

She is survived by her daughter Janet L. Reese, wife of William A., of Walnutport and son Kenneth P. Bertolet of North Coventry; grandchildren Tina, William E., David, Lisa, and Thomas; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her granddaughter Zoe Ann Reese, 3 sisters and 2 Brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 11:00AM at Coventry Church of the Brethren, 946 Keen Road, Pottstown with Rev.  Sandford J. Cristophel officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. Visitation will be from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at the church.
