Brenda Lee Eshbach, 58, of Monroe, NC, formerly of Boyertown, passed away Saturday April 14, 2018 at Carolina Medical Center.
Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of Betty (Dierolf) Ritter and the late George D. Eshbach.
Brenda attended Boyertown High School and graduated from Dieroff High School in Allentown. She worked at Bally Ribbon Mill until her accident in 1979 left her in a wheelchair. After rehabilitation, she enrolled at Edinburgh State College and graduated in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Brenda started her own counseling service in 1988 in Monroe, NC, as a licensed psychologist.
Surviving along with her mother is her fiancé Danny Daniels; step-father Norman H. Ritter, Jr.; two brothers Harold Eshbach fiancé of JoAnn Goldberger, and David Eshbach husband of Angelia; two nephews Brian Eshbach husband of Colleen, and Cody Eshbach; one niece Riley Eshbach; one great nephew Devon Eshbach; step-grandniece Stacey Ward fiancé of Carl Derk; and step-grandnephews Stephen, Dallas, and Dawson Struss; and friend Candace West.
A memorial service will be held Saturday June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Co., 10 Warwick St., Boyertown, PA 19512. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the fire co. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brenda’s memory to www.christopherreeve.org or to www.themiamiproject.org
