Carole L. (Durand) Droluk, 73, of Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Pottstown Hospital.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Pearl (Huesing) Durand.
A 1968 graduate of Northern Michigan University, Carole spent over 30 years educating children first as an elementary school teacher, then as a stay at home mother, a director of a daycare, and finally, an instructional assistant at Arcola intermediate school where she remained until retirement. Carole loved to travel with her family and friends, and enjoyed beating everyone in word games and crossword puzzles in her spare time. There was nothing more Carole enjoyed than spending time surrounded by family, but watching Philadelphia’s sports teams came in at a close second.
Surviving are her two daughters Julie Droluk, wife of Ian Wallace, and Jenna Waite, wife of Dan; sisters Kathy McKinley, wife of Rob, and Patty Meyer, wife of Dave; brothers Bob Durand, husband of Lorna, Tom Durand, husband of Carol, and Bill Durand, husband of Jen; grandchildren Sofia, Xavier, Henry, Rowan, Maisie, Boden, Cullen, and Hayden.
