Joanne "Joey" Jenkins, 75

Joanne “Joey” Jenkins, 75, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Spring Mount, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl (Vanderslice) Swymelar.

Joanne lived life to the fullest, if she wasn’t at the beach, you could find her gardening and tending to her flowers, or taking walks on sunny days with her significant other (Richard) Schroeder. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, which she looked forward to decorating for every year. But most of all, Joanne was a family -oriented person, and loved her family deeply.

Surviving is her daughter, Raeanne Stark; grandchildren Tyler, Kane, and Logan Adamski; significant other Richard Schroeder; brothers Goog, Butch, David, and John; sisters Carol and Pearl. She was predeceased by her husband, Bruce Jenkins.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC (1020 East Philadelphia Avenue, Gilbertsville, PA 19525), followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Internment will take place at Limerick Garden of Memories following the service.
