Paul Auman, 81

Paul Auman, 81, beloved husband of Margaret Auman, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Paul and Cecelia (Kerrigan) Auman.

Paul loved to fish the various lakes and creeks around the area in his spare time. He enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle and poker. He liked horse racing, and being an avid Philadelphia sports fan, he couldn’t wait for the next Eagles or Phillies game to be on TV so he could cheer them on. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Paul spent many years working at the United States Postal Service and the National Association of Letter Carriers. Bust most of all, Paul was a family man, from enjoying his “pop-pop day cares” with each one of his grandchildren from their early start until they could go to school, to just spending the day with family.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife Margaret, are his children, daughter Kathleen Flanagan, wife of Matthew, and son Timothy Auman, husband of Angela; grandchildren Hannah, Joseph, and Nora Flanagan; sisters Ellen Angelitis, wife of the late Joseph; Nannette Davis, wife of Harry; brother Brian Auman, husband of Madeline.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473). A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940).
