I was lucky enough to be Leo's friend. The happiest, joyful, and humble man I ever met. I will miss all the time we talked about music and musicians. God Bless.

I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Dr. McCormick in life. However, I’m honored that his family selected me to perform “If I Can Dream” at his memorial service. He clearly was a special man. My condolences to all who knew and loved him.

My husband and I met Leo while on a spiritual retreat in 2022. He joined us for dinner again and again and made us feel he was glad we were there. Through stories he shared we learned of his love for Christine and the children, his work and his staff, his patients, and parishioners. The founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, once stated that there are only two tests of a life well lived: "Did one do as one intended? And were people glad one lived?" What a life well lived was Leo's! He intended to help and he did so! Are we glad that he lived? So glad! Well done, lad!!!

It is an honor to have had Dr. Leo McCormick as my friend. I met him at a chiropractic seminar in 1989 . We were both very excited to have recently started our practices. Over the years, Leo dedicated himself to helping his patients and all of those around him through constantly improving himself and his knowledge base. He had a way about him that just made you feel better just talking to or being with him. His positiveness despite his battle with cancer was exemplary for all. I enjoyed all the years of making our football picks and never once did he pick against his Birds. I miss you Leo. You were the best.

I first met Leo when he joined our fraternity at Ursinus over 40 years ago. He always had a very kind and gentle way about him and was loved by everyone. To this day, every guy in our frat has a close bond and losing Leo leaves a big void but he blessed all of us with great memories of him.

Dr. Leo was a kind and gentle soul. He truly cared about his patients and always got to know everyone on a more personal level. Our condolences to the family.

I had such traumatic Dr. experiences as a young woman.
My back went out during my first birth.
I didn’t know how I would make it carrying my son.
I prayed deeply and a picture of Leo came to mind.
I knew him as Christine’s wonderful husband and best friends to Ed & Camille.
I called Camille and asked what is Leo doing these days? She said he’s a chiropractor !
My journey back to trusting a Dr. began as we met at Dr. Grissafi’s office.
Jesus became a bridge to our hearts ❤️ as he cared for me through that journey. Amazingly coming the day after my home birth and adjusted Micah & I.. this is how much trust this man was worthy of. Trusting him with my newborn!!
He opened up a lifeline of health through his care and when we moved recommended his sister Dr. Karen and Dr. Bill. Christine you have been a joy and strength always and our love goes out to your whole family .. May Jesus comfort and carry you all in this deep loss. Our families are United in love always

Condolences to Dr. Leo's wife Christine and family, also his office family. He will be missed by all who knew him, but know that now he is at peace with God and his Angels. May God comfort all of you in this time of sorrow.

I was heart broken to hear about the passing of Dr. McCormick. He was an amazing person who always put other people first. He never failed to make sure I was taken care of especially after my head injury and was one of the few doctors I trusted to help me recover. Sending love to you all, he will be dearly missed.

Leo’s life was a true example of kindness and love—for his family, his patients, and everyone who knew him. His legacy lives on through his children and all those he touched along the way. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Christine and the family.

Dr. McCormick was such a kind person and the best chiropractor I ever had. I remember him working on me and a storm knocked out the power. He placed candles on the counters and continued working. I met Leo early on in our careers. When I first met him he seemed like a life long friend. He cared about others like no other person I feel I have known. My condolences to Christine and Leo's family who meant the world to him. Truly one of a kind human . being.

I was so very sad to hear of Leo's battle only a few weeks ago, and now to hear of his passing. As with some others leaving condolences here, Leo was my fraternity brother at Ursinus College. We only sporadically saw each other over the years at fraternity reunions, the last of which was a 60th birthday party thrown for me in 2022. At Ursinus, and at our reunions over the years, I always appreciated Leo's kindness and sense of humor. He never a bad word about others and was one of those people whose presence made any event that much better. This was always the case at our fraternity reunions. He will be missed always. My prayers go out to him and his family at this difficult time.

To Christine and the entire McCormick family we send our deepest sympathies. Leo was very special to us; he gave a beautiful service for my mother’s passing and we will miss him greatly here, in this place. Love to your entire family. Audrey and Brian

Leo was the first person I met at Ursinus in 1980. We became friends and I joined the POD fraternity , which still holds periodic gatherings. I visited Leo and Chris just a few weeks ago and before leaving he entrusted his fraternity hat to my care, written inside was his name and “944 Main”, the address of the house my freshman year. In his weakened state he climbed his stairs and retrieved the hat from a closet shelf and brought it outside to surprise me. Thinking of others every minute and I will take care of that hat, yes I will. To Chris and the entire family, let all these comments, your memories, and your tears be a blessing - as hard as it must be. You are in our hearts, our prayers, and our thoughts.

He will forever be “Dr. Leo” to me, such a wonderful, kind and caring man that I learned so much from at my time at McCormick. He went above and beyond for his family, his patients, employees and would do anything for Christine. I am so very sorry and am truly in shock that this legend of a man is gone from this earth. Prayers and hugs to you Christine, Lisa and everyone in the family. He left a great legacy for his children and a lasting impression for all who knew him. His huge smile and blue eyes will be missed. I remember a heated discussion during one meeting about pineapple on pizza, he did not approve of that! He had a passion for life and achieving goals. Thank you for everything Dr. Leo. You are now at peace.

Anyone who knew us knew that we were addicted to this man. The guy who could always put Humpty Dumpty together again. The most spiritual and confident and humble ... the most encouraging and supportive ... the most dedicated family man. The most dedicated doctor. A happy and life-loving individual who shared it all. We love you Mac and will always remember what you taught us.

Dr.Leo will be very sadly missed. He was there for me and my family with treatments, advise and support. He was one terrific man. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.

Work and the demands of life kept us from seeing each other a lot over the years but the bond we formed as friends and fraternity brothers at Ursinus never weakened. When we did get together, it was just like old times. Farewell my friend, you will be missed, another gone too soon, but I am glad you will no longer suffer.

I am so sorry for your loss. Leo was one of my favorite students in a Mythology class I taught at Bishop Kenrick. I remember that year I had asked the students if they would like to do some science fiction and assigned some extra reading. Years later I ran into Leo and he said, "I hate you!" I asked him "Why?!!"; he replied that he had never liked reading and I had gotten him hooked on science fiction, and he couldn't read the books fast enough! That's something every teacher loves to hear and why I always remembered Leo with great fondness. You all have my sincerest love and prayers.

My sincerest condolences to your family. I have the fondest memories of Leo at Palmer College.

Leo was a homeroom buddy in HS. Then we met on a soccer field being our sons coach. He turned into my Doc . Most and not the least a friend with unconditional love and understanding. I will truly miss you. Thank you for being Dominic 2nd dad.
