Donald N. Hagenbuch, 73

Donald N. Hagenbuch, 73, of Myrtle Beach, SC, and formerly of Gilbertsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Temple Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the loving husband of Robin Kay (Rusinski) Hagenbuch.

Born in Pottstown, PA, Donald was the son of the late Leon and Luella (Nester) Hagenbuch.

Donald was employed by Dana Corporation for 34 years in Pottstown, PA, working as a CNC Operator. After retiring in 2006, he embraced the things he loved most—cherished time with his grandchildren, family vacations and many beautiful sunny days relaxing on the beach in Myrtle. Most of all he enjoyed gatherings and fun times spent with friends and loved ones.

An avid outdoorsman, Donald was a lifelong member of the NRA and a former member of the Boyertown Hunting Club. He took great joy in hunting, nature, and the camaraderie that came with it.

Donald is survived by his wife, Robin; his son, Jason Donald Hagenbuch; his daughter, Jennifer Robin Coyle, wife of Michael J. Coyle; and his grandchildren, Emma Grace, Reece Taylor, and Owen Michael. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Jesse Rusinski, husband of Garnetta, of Boyertown, PA; his sister-in-law, Sharon Qualls, of Stafford, Virginia; and eight nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl and Richard Hagenbuch.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11am at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 45 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donald’s memory, to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA.

Robin and family,
Words can't express the heartbreak Chip and I are feeling.
Even though Ive only known you and Don for a short time, our times together with Don have been memorable and fun. You two welcomed me with open arms when I moved to Myrtle. I could not have ask for 2 better neighbors. You and your family will continue to be in my prayers. May God give you the peace that passes all understanding.
