Joan Culbert, 77, wife of the late Harry F. Culbert, Sr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Reading Hospital.
Born in Forest Hill, MD, she was the daughter of the late Derwood J. and Ethel Irene (Cox) Howell.
Joan was the adventurous type. She loved traveling across the country with her husband to various different places, enjoying all the new scenery along the way. But most of all, Joan enjoyed the time spent with all her family.
Surviving Joan is a son, Jimmy D. Seigler, Jr.; brother Richard Howell; sister Anita Mertz, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was predeceased by her brothers James Howell, Davis Howell, Dean Howell, and Francis Howell. Her sister Jean Marrs.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC (1020 East Philadelphia Avenue, Gilbertsville, PA 19525). Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
