Hilda (Hoffman) Kolb, 98, formerly of Sassamansville, wife of the late Russel H. Kolb, passed away Tuesday July 28, 2026 at Frederick Living.
Born in Douglass Twp., she was the daughter of the late Norman B. and Irene (Schlegel) Hoffman.
Hilda worked for many years as a secretary for Schmoyer’s Lumber Yard. She was a life-long member of Christ Lutheran Church Niantic. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling with her husband and going fishing on their boat. Hilda was also a talented baker.
Surviving is her nieces Kay Barr wife of James, Eloise Swavely wife of Harold, Pat Moyer wife of Michael; niece-in-law Linda Hoffman; nephew-in-law John Granhan; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Cora Ertman; brother Daniel Hoffman; nephew Eugene Hoffman; and niece Evelyn Granhan.
Funeral service will be held Monday August 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Rd., Barto, PA 19504. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00-11:45 AM at the church.
