Priscilla M. (Koch) Melcher, 84, wife of the late Allen R. Melcher, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Chestnut Knoll in Boyertown.
Born in Bally, PA, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Agnes (Kriebel) Koch.
Priscilla was a very strong faithed, devout Catholic. She was a longtime member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church. She volunteered at Pottstown Hospital and the Bally Senior Center for several years. Priscilla was a longtime bank teller at the Bally branch of the National Bank of Boyertown and loved to serve her customers. She enjoyed playing bingo, as well as going to the casinos through various trips along with her husband, Allen. She was also involved in many different activities at Chestnut Knoll. Above all else, she loved her family and will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her sons William L. Melcher, husband of Scott Shiigi, and Robert L. Melcher, husband of Kim Le; daughter-in-law Lori Melcher; grandchildren Matthew Melcher, husband of Joanna, Stephanie Vent, wife of Christopher; great grandchildren Abigail Melcher, Kinsely Vent, Mila Vent, and Quincy Vent. She is predeceased by her sons Richard A. Melcher and David M. Melcher.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 11:00AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church (610 Pine St, Bally, PA 19503) with Fr. James officiating. Burial will follow at Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/) in Priscilla’s name.
