Charles McIntosh, 67, beloved husband of Joan (Emery) McIntosh, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.
Born in Abington, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Arlene (Breese) McIntosh.
Charles joined the Navy after graduating from Upper Moreland High School in 1977. After leaving the Navy, he went on to work for the Post Office, where he retired after 28 years.
Charles loved to read in his spare time and had a deep interest in Civil War history. He was an avid traveler, and at the end of the day, he could often be found enjoying a good bourbon and cigar. Most of all, Charles cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; his brother, Michael McIntosh and his wife, Erin; and his sisters, Robin Weaver and her husband, Kevin, and Diane Cohen, wife of the late Joel.
In addition to his immediate family, he will be missed by his mother-in-Law, brothers-in-law Peter, David, John, Mark, and Rob, and his sisters-in-law Betty Anne, Elaine, and Lisa.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
