Nancy B. (Burke) Green, devoted wife of Hansell Barry Green, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Morningside House of Collegeville, where she and Barry had lived the past several months.
Born in Upper Merion Township, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Violet (Mazzerle) Burke.
Professionally, Nancy was a receptionist. Outside of the office, she excelled at many hobbies, including gardening, sewing, crafting, cooking, and baking. Nancy loved animals, and enjoyed tending to her numerous pets over the years as well as visiting zoos and sanctuaries. She previously volunteered at the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation (now Farmstead) with Barry, assisting in reenactments and events there. Nancy loved her family dearly, and was affectionately known as Nonna to her grandchildren.
Surviving along with her husband of 55 years, Barry, are her daughter Linda Bowman, wife of Michael; sister-in-law Barbara Hensel, wife of David; grandchildren Jared Bowman and Connor Bowman; and a cherished extended family. She is predeceased by her brothers Stephen Burke, Ernest Burke, and Ronald Burke; and brother-in-law Howard A. (Jake) Flogaus.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
