Mark C. Drabinsky, aged 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026. A lifelong resident of Boyertown, Pennsylvania, Mark was known for his technical expertise, his kindness, and love of his community.
A 1976 graduate of Boyertown High School, Mark had planned to attend his 50th reunion this year. For many years he supported local bands with skillful lighting and special effects. Mark was an early adopter of Apple computers and was a regular at MacWorld. He continued his passion for technology with an electrical engineering degree at Penn State University. For 10 plus years he worked for PECO at Limerick Nuclear Power Plant as an electrical technician. He later worked as a website manager for the city of Reading. For many years he was a local and national advocate for causes of concern to him. In recent years, he mastered AI technology, creating entertaining videos to share with friends and family, never failing to elicit a laugh at the outrageous scenarios he envisioned. He was a proud supporter of the Berks Democratic Party. Mark spent many of his recent years as caregivers for his parents, Robert “Bob” and Virginia “Ginny” Drabinsky of Boyertown, who predeceased him.
He is survived by his family, brother Robert and wife Elizabeth of Lobachsville, PA; sister Jennifer and her husband Michael Wilde of Newark, Delaware; brother Todd and wife Daniela of Fleetwood, PA, and family friend Heather Humma of Bath, PA.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Fellowship Hall at St. Andrew UM Church in Bechtelsville PA on Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. (https://www.saintandrewumc.org)

His kindness, dedication to his family and friends, curious nature, and commitment to his community will be missed by all who knew him.
