Eileen M. (Dolan) O’Donnell, 72, of Wildwood Crest NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, wife of James P. O’Donnell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Elizabeth (Ballard) Dolan.
Eileen was a retired office manager of Bengal Paper & Converting Company, where she worked for over 25 years. She was a member of LAOH in North Wildwood, NJ. Eileen also enjoyed summers at the beach and traveling with both her family and friends.
Surviving with her husband of 51 years are daughters Jill Casey, wife of Michael, Megan O’Donnell, and Kate Sharp, wife of Barry; and grandchildren Colin, Devin, Aidan and Brennan Casey, and Elizabeth and Keegan Sharp.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 19, 11:00AM at St. Eleanor RC Church, 647 Locust St, Collegeville, PA 19426. Burial will follow at Saint Ann Cemetery, W. Pothouse Road, Phoenixville, PA. Visitation will be Monday, June 18 from 7PM to 9PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Road, Royersford and on Tuesday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen’s name to one of her friend’s charity to help local cancer patients: For the Love of Donna, c/o Mary Hadley, 1085 N. Washington St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
