Ella Louise (Little) McDonald, 69, of Pottstown, wife of David E. McDonald of 44 years, passed away on Friday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Williamston, NC, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Ella Mae (Sproul) Little.

Along with her husband, she is survived by children Robin Yates of Pottstown, Robert L. Little, husband of Monique, of Las Vegas, Wendell E. Little of Clarksville, TN, Beverly L. McDonald of Pottstown, David “Skip” McDonald of Stowe, and Jill A. McDonald-Bright, wife of D’Andre, of Pottstown; sisters Mary Harris, Gayle West, Katie Johnson, Norma Davis, and Joyce Thrower; and brothers Thurman Pope and Calvin Magnum. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sisters Lucille and Rosetta and her brothers Ernest, Robert and John.

Ella was a member of Invictus Church in Pottstown where she served on the usher board and pastoral support. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #87 Keystone Lodge. She worked for Montgomery County Geriatric Center for 10 years and at Tri-County Transit Service as a driver prior to her retiring. She enjoyed reading and gospel music, was an avid shopper and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 11 am at Invictus Church, 79 N. Hanover Street in Pottstown with Bishop Everett Debnam officiating. Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends may call on Thursday from 10AM to 11AM at the church.
