Margaret A. (O’Brien) Farrow, 71, of Frederick, beloved wife of Charles A. Farrow, passed away on Thursday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center after a long battle with lymphoma.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Upper Darby, she was the daughter of the late Francis Patrick Joseph and Mary Agnes (Shevlin) O’Brien.
Margaret was a member of St. Philip Neri RC Church in Pennsburg, Sassamansville Fire Co., and the former Curves in Pottstown. She enjoyed gardening, shopping going to craft shows and traveling with her family.
Surviving with her husband of 47 years are children Charles A. Farrow, husband of Marsha, of Boyertown, Christopher I. Farrow of Sassamansville, Michael J. Farrow, husband of Christina, of Pottstown, Ann Marie Magyar, wife of Jeffrey, of Pottstown and Virgil P. Farrow, husband of Kim, of Gilbertsville; sisters Maureen Mikuleky, wife of Donald, of Huntington Beach, CA and Kathleen Marie Lynam of Swedesboro, NJ; and grandchildren Melissa, Zachary, Michael, Shannon, Kelly, Chuck, Sophia, and John.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 11:00AM at St. Philip Neri RC Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg with Fr. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30AM to 10:45AM at the church. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery will be private and at a later date.
