Mark Philip Sneff, 58, of Limerick Township, PA passed away suddenly in his home on March 19, 2019.

Beloved husband of Sally (nee Twiford) and adoring father of Emily and Michael. Brother of Susan (Thomas) Rambo and Paula (James) Lyons; uncle of Lisa (Brad) Noecker, Laurie Peden, Becky (Hicham) Hachmi, Mandy (Jon) Bowman, Dan Twiford, Lauren Rambo, Thomas Rambo, Chelsea Lyons, Christopher Lyons, Paige Lyons; great-uncle of Samantha Peden, Danielle Peden, Emma Noecker, Karim Hachmi, and Idris Hachmi.

Mark was born on May 11, 1960 in Würzburg, Germany to the late John and Mary Jane (nee Phillips) Sneff and was raised in northeast Philadelphia. He was a proud graduate of Penn State University, where he and his wife met 39 years ago. Mark and Sally were married for 33 years, and he was the most caring, funny, and supportive dad to Emily and Michael. Mark was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, from his time as a varsity athlete at Lincoln High School to his celebration of the Eagles’ Super Bowl win last year. He traveled the world, from childhood road trips to business trips, but his favorite place to be was with his family. He had a quick wit and deep wisdom, and was always prepared with a joke, a line from a TV show, or a piece of good advice.

Mark was a devoted follower of Christ who faithfully served the church and his community throughout his life. He taught Sunday School and Disciple classes for many years, and was not only a thoughtful and compassionate teacher, but a lifelong student, always interested in learning and reading.

Mark was a human resources professional in the healthcare and education fields for 35 years. As a colleague, mentor, and friend, he helped people to successfully network and pursue fulfilling career paths. His most recent position as Vice President of Human Resources at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation allowed him to put his faith into action through the hospital’s mission. He was especially inspired by the pediatric patients, and even visited them as Santa Claus last Christmas.
He left an indelible legacy through the people he guided spiritually, personally, and professionally, and especially through his children.

Loved ones, friends, and colleagues are invited to visitation beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 25, 2019, at New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mark’s name to Pediatrics at Good Shepherd: www.goodshepherdrehab.org/donation-form
