Martin M. Gratzinger, 70, husband of 47 years to Patricia L. (McKean) Gratzinger, of Schwenksville, passed away on Sunday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Eleanor A. (Eckert) Gratzinger, and the late Charles “Martin” Gratzinger.

He had been employed for many years a welder in the trucking industry, having been employed by Baker Equipment, ETL Truck Equipment, and Basset Industries. He also enjoyed spending time in the garage tinkering and fixing anything broken, and he loved his old cub cadets and car shows.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children; Michael Gratzinger, husband of Deb, of Schwenksville, Levan Kolb, wife of  Don, of Spring City, James Gratzinger, of Schwenksville, his siblings; Joseph Gratzinger, Eleanor Troemel, Robert Gratzinger, Stephen Gratzinger, James Gratzinger, Kathleen Gratzinger, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 329 N. Lewis Road, Royersford, Pa., 19468, and to his Visitation on Saturday morning from 10:00-10:45 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately by his family at a later date.

Memorial contributions in his name can be made to the Montgomery County S.P.C.A., 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, Pa., 19428.
