Mary Clemens Kulp Gehman, 99, of Crow Hill above Bally, wife of the late Abraham B. Gehman, passed away on Sunday at her home with her family by her side.

Born near Kulpsville, she was the daughter of the late Elias W. and Elizabeth Rachel (Clemens) Kulp.

Mary was a life long Mennonite and attended Bally Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker who loved nature and gardening; a people person who loved to visit family and friends. She treasured life and inspired others to do the same. Faith and family were her passions.

She is survived by her children: Dr. Linford Gehman, Bergton, VA; Abraham K., Bally; Rhoda, Bally; Johanna, Barto; James, Pikeville; Ada, Barto; Merrill, Green Lane; Harley, Bird Creek, Alaska and Dwight, Barto; a sister, Ruth Nafziger, Bally; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her son Ronald Gehman, Potter County, PA and 2 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 9th, 11:00AM at Bally Mennonite Church, Rt. 100, Bally with Pastor Klaudia Smucker officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bally Mennonite Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00AM to 10:30AM at the church.
