Michael A. Orndorff, 57, husband of Marianne L. (Boyer) Orndorff, of South Coventry Twp., Pottstown, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday after being diagnosed with lung cancer in September.  He was surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Gettysburg, he was the son of Madeline C. (Plunkert) Orndorff and the late John B. Orndorff Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, his sons Jacob and Benjamin Orndorff, and his brothers John Jr. and Bryan Orndorff.

Mike graduated from Long Island University in NY with a BS in Biology. He was a prominent businessman and owner of PACMA Inc. of Hershey, Pa. He loved architecture, design and was a hands-on guy when it came to remodeling his own homes. Before he was known as ‘Captain Mike’, he established himself as an avid outdoorsman, enjoying golf, archery hunting, and fishing.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 20th, at St. Peters United Church of Christ, 1920 Ridge Road, Pottstown (Knauertown) with Rev. Nichols officiating. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s name to Tri County Home Health & Hospice, 13 Armand Hammer Blvd., Pottstown, PA 19468.
