Phyllis C. (Trumbauer) Ohlinger, age 86, of Parkhouse Providence Pointe, Royersford, and formerly of Gilbertsville, died Monday at Parkhouse.
Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Naudascher) Trumbauer.
Mrs. Ohlinger was primarily a homemaker and was an active member of several Christian churches throughout her life. She loved music and sang in many church and other choirs. She enjoyed the piano and played chimes and bells with senior groups.
Surviving are five sons; Stanley G. McClennen III, Gilbertsville, William H. McClennen (Shelley), of Salt Lake City, Utah, John H. McClennen (Donna), of Fort Mill S.C., Russell C. McClennen, of Salinas CA., and Thomas D. McClennen of Audubon. Also surviving are two brothers; William and Kenneth Trumbauer, both of Quakertown, along with a sister; Gladys Trumbauer, also of Quakertown, 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mrs. Ohlinger was previously married to Stanley G. McClennen Jr., and was pre-deceased by a daughter; Joan P. McClennen, and four brothers and four sisters.
The family appreciates the compassionate care given by the staff at Parkhouse and Vitas Hospice.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 93 Maugers Mill Rd., Pottstown, Pa., on Saturday October 30, 2010, at 11 AM, with Bishop Brett Duersch, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Saturday at the church. The burial only will be private.
