Richard J. Turner, 86, of Limerick, formerly of Philadelphia, devoted husband of Lillian (Wolfrum) Turner for 67 years, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 17 at his residence.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Russell B. and Martha (Jackson) Turner.

Richard was a proud WWII and Korean War Navy veteran. He was a long time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA until moving to the Limerick area six years ago. His pleasures in life revolved around people and what he could do to help them. His concerning nature was mixed with a light heartedness. His ability to bring laughter and fun wherever he went will be sadly missed.

Along with his wife, he is survived by loving daughter, Linda L. Otto (Richard), adored by three grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephen and Jonathan and, three great-grandchildren, Katherine, Connor and Gabriella. He is also survived by 2 brothers, many loving nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a son, Richard W. Turner (Carol).

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 1:00PM at Forest Hills Cemetery (Lamb Funeral Home), 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12noon to 1:00PM.
