Robert James Berry, 86, husband for 55 years of Wilma J. (Corns) Berry of Gilbertsville, and formerly of King of Prussia, passed away on Monday at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina.

He and his wife operated “Wilma’s Thrift Shop” in the Zerns Farmer Market for many years, and he had also been previously employed as a Typesetter for both the TV Guide and the former Philadelphia Bulletin Newspaper publications. He was also a member of the South Carolina Association of the Deaf for many years.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by his children; Barbara Dunn, of Gilbertsville, James Berry, of Colebrookdale, and his two granddaughters; Brandy Courtney and Jennica Courtney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Friday, starting at 12:00 Noon at New Hanover Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville, Pa., 19525, and to his Visitation on Friday morning from 11-11:45 AM at the Church. Burial will follow in New Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name can be made to New Hanover Lutheran Church at the above address.
