Robert Morris “Bob” Heimovitz, 75, of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania,
passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 in the comfort of his own
home.

Born June 30, 1944 in Northeast Philadelphia, he was the son of the
late Joseph and Marietta (D’Ottavio) Heimovitz

Robert proudly served in the U.S. Military as an Aircraft Mechanic.
After an honorable discharge in 1963, he eventually became a highly
respected Captain working for Altair Airlines, where he made many
lifelong friends. Upon retiring his stripes, he thoroughly enjoyed his
career in transportation, where he was able to connect and socialize
with people from all walks of life. Robert spent much of his free time
reading sailing magazines or hanging out with his dog, Dexter. He
also enjoyed every moment he had, whether in person or over the
phone, with his children, grandchildren, lady friend, QiuYue Wei,
and best friend, Anne Maria. Robert shared his love of football with
his son, Bobby, especially their love for the Philadelphia Eagles. .

Surviving are son Bobby Heimovitz, husband of Hollis Heimovitz;
daughter Katrina Galuszka, wife of James Galuszka, daughters
Jennifer Miklas, wife of Noah Miklas, and Andrea Samol, wife of Mike
Samol; and grandchildren Summer, Jett, Neo, Trinity, Brett, Kailee,
Emma and Adelyn. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by
his brother Ralph “Sonny” Chiodo and sister Toni Kramer. Robert
was a loving and loyal father, grandfather, and friend.

Services and interment are private.
