Trevor R. Mackie, 24, of Lower Pottsgrove, passed away suddenly Thursday January 19, 2012.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Robert W., Jr. and Kathleen A. (Gauger) Mackie.  He was a 2005 graduate of Pottsgrove High School.  He was also a member of Zion’s United Church of Christ in Pottstown.

Trevor enjoyed spending time snowboarding, building computers, working on his cars, listening to music, and installing car stereo systems. He was a journeyman electrician employed by ES3 in York PA as an Electrical Maintenance Technician. He is described by his friends as one of the smartest people they have ever known, and he will be greatly missed.

Surviving along with his parents are his sister Chelsea L. Mackie of Lower Pottsgrove; and grandparents Robert W. Mackie, Sr., husband of Grace of N.C.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Trevor was predeceased by his grandmother Elizabeth Mackie and grandparents John J. and Judith Gauger.

A memorial service will be celebrated Thursday, 7:30 PM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown with Rev. Linda Higgins officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:30-7:15 PM at the funeral home.
