Webster Lee (Jake) Hartline, 78 of Exeter, husband of Kathleen M. (Borgiet) Hartline, passed away on Wednesday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading.
Born in Amityville, he was the son of the late Lawrence A. and Esther E. (Koch) Hartline.
Jake was a 1951 graduate of the former Amity High School. He was a Korean Army veteran and a member of St. Catharine of Siena RC Church in Reading.
Surviving with his wife of 56 years are daughters LeeAnn Van Horn and Laurie L. Moyer, both of Douglassville and Helaine L. Truax, wife of Jeffrey, of Phoenixville; sister Gladys Madeira of Douglassville; grandchildren CW2 Gregory D. Van Horn, husband of Jennifer, of Killeen, TX, Lt. Jeffrey A. Van Horn, husband of Sara, of Biloxi, MS, Nash B. Moyer of Douglassville and Kaitlyn A. Truax of Phoenixville; and 4 great granddaughters.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10:30AM at St. Catharine of Siena RC Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, with Fr. Eugene Ritz officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pottstown. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00AM to 10:15AM at the church.
