William Alan Hohl, 91, husband for 63 years to Doris M. (Rawn) Hohl of North Coventry, passed away on Saturday morning surrounded by his loving family. Born in Douglassville, he was a son of the late Therza (Rinker) Hohl, and the late William F. Hohl.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II who served in the South Pacific, and he was employed as a tool & die maker for over 30 years by the Doehler-Jarvis Company prior to his retirement. He was also a Mason with over 50 years of service and was a member of the Stichter Masonic Lodge #254, and he was also an officer of the High 12 Masonic Organization. Mr. Hohl was also a former member of the Owen J. Roberts School Board, and a lifelong member of the Cedarville United Methodist Church where he was very active in many of the church leadership positions. He was also a past committee chairman of Boy Scout Troop #95, and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting, bird watching, and hot air ballooning. Mr. Hohl was also a passionate gardener who also loved spending time with his family, and he will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children; Linda H. Giannini, of Murrieta, CA, Susan H. Pecarich (wife of Andrew) of North Coventry, Mary Lou Gundersen (wife of Gordon) of North Potomac, MD., David A. Hohl (husband of Jo Ann) of North Coventry, his grandchildren; Mark Gundersen, Brian Gundersen, Lisa Mast, Bill Hohl, Jamie Giannini, Lauren Pecarich, Kristina Pecarich, and his brothers; W. Frank Hohl, of North Coventry, H. Eugene Hohl, of East Coventry, and Reverend Richard Hohl, of Iowa. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his infant son, the late William Alan Hohl, Jr., and his brother, the late Raymond R. Hohl.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, starting at 10:00 AM at Cedarville United Methodist Church, 1092 Laurelwood Road, Pottstown, Pa., 19465, and to his Visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:00 PM, and again on Thursday morning from 9:00-9:45 AM at the Church.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Memorial contributions in his name can be made to the Cedarville United Methodist Church at the above address.
